The Bullet Release™ is a revolutionary new patent pending device that was designed for the water sports enthusiast to protect against rope entanglement. Getting the rope or handle wrapped around you or your gear can cause equipment damage and have serious, or even fatal, health consequences. The Bullet Release™ is designed to automatically release the rope at a predetermined load, significantly reducing the chance of exposure to dangerous forces caused by rope entanglement. Release point is controlled by a sheer pin and can be set to four different presets ranging from light (about 200 pounds) to super duty (around 800 lbs).
The Bullet Release™ is designed to be affordable and durable, with no moving parts or complicated adjustments. Load settings can easily be changed on the Bullet to accommodate the rider’s needs. Simply insert the color coded pin that suits your desired release load, and you are ready to go!
The Bullet Release™ was designed with the marine environment in mind. The body and release pins are made from high quality aircraft aluminum.
The Bullet Release™ is compact and light weight. The entire device is about the size of a thumb. It is simple to attach to any rope and travels easily.
The Bullet Release™ comes with a starter package of pins. Extra pins and rope attachment loops are readily available. If you have specific requirements, inquire about having custom pins made to order.
